- Commissioned: 20,January 1943 - LCDR LeRoy T. Taylor
- Decommissioned: 11,November 1945 - LT Robert L. Wessel, USNR
- PT Boats: Elco 80' PT's 175-186
- Assigned To: South Pacific, Southwest Pacific
- Postscript: The squadron saw action at Rendova, Vella Lavella and other areas. After transfer to the Southwest Pacific, the squadron had action in the Halmaheras area. For a short while Squadron 11-2 under the command of Lt. John H. Stillman was designated with 4 PT's to relieve Squadron 3-2 in the Ellice Group, then later rejoined the parent squadron.

- PT Boats: Elco 80' PT's 127,145,146,150-152,187-196
- Assigned To: Southwest Pacific,
- Postscript: The squadron saw action in New Guinea waters, and the Philippines. Squadron 12 was awarded the Presidential Unit Citation for action in New Guinea from Oct 1943 to March 1944.

- PT Boats: Higgins 78' PT's 73-84
- Assigned To: Aleutian, Southwest Pacific.
- Postscript: The squadron saw action in Dutch New Guinea, Philippines and Borneo waters. Squadron 13 was awarded the Navy Commendation for action at Mindoro from Dec 15 to 19, 1944.

- PT Boats: Huckins 78' PT's 98-102
- Assigned To: Panama Sea Frontier
- Postscript: The squadron was assigned to the Panama Sea Frontier as a defensive position to guard the Panama Canal Zone. It had no action with the enemy.

- Decommissioned: 17, October 1944
- PT Boats: Higgins 78' PT's 201-218
- Assigned To: Mediterranean Theater
- Postscript: The first RON sent to Mediterranean, operated as a unit of the British Coastal Forces. It saw action throughout the western Mediterranean, which included Africa, Sicily, Capri, Italy and other areas.
